Great Scot
Not else the land itself Without Highland sky Or Lowland lochs The power began before Ye what a land above all In the realm of the spirits call Where gods did meet To settle the work of man Lest no other place be found To extol rule One such a scape Would harness There can be no other That all would agree Of Heaven’s host When reign first fell to earth Look to the circles of old Even ancient…

alright buff studio/team 334 peeps, i've reached my first ending in ancestral legacy. lemme give you a fast review (and this doodle)
the game has nice ui and stuff... but ehhhh the story is... it may not be my cup of tea but it just doesn't hit at all?? this game isn't very emotional (for me at least) and it kinda weighs more on morality? ik from the title it's meant to be obviously about legacy ooo ritual stuff but... the plot felt confusing to me. or maybe i just don't get it since it's only 1 ending i got so far, tho i don't feel AS motivated to complete it like uwo/ciu/neah... but i'm still gonna try get the rest either way, cuz some of its plot twists are pretty good
basically the plot is average high school guy who just wanna hang out with his grams tries to go up against some 500+ year old spirit god that punishes and "rewards" you based on your choices and your family doesn't give a crap about it
i've seen other ppl reviews and they say you're not given that much choices, i'll come back to this if it's true since there are still 8 endings (which is still plenty), but like the reason i played this is bcuz i found kyung lee hot af ngl-
so uh, overall, the game is mid, if you're interested in the rituals and old spirits gods stuff then it might be good for you? it's hard to understand for me eh

Chapter 341: Ancestral Ties
Tumblr media
An experienced traveler, David Grey had easily settled into his hotel room, but his comfort seemed to vanish as he emerged from the hotel onto the busy New York street.
Tumblr media
He’d only been He’d only been in the city for a day, but already felt as though someone had been following him. While he suspected the feeling was only his imagination, the realization didn’t prevent the lump in his stomach from shifting uncomfortably as he looked about.
Tumblr media
Traffic was moving at a crawl as David crossed – which made him wonder, as he had many times before, how anyone in New York ever got anywhere. Meanwhile, he continued to look around intently, as if expecting to see Allesandro’s thugs, Pryor and Franklin, at any moment.
Breathing hard, he ducked into a small antique shop, and turned to make sure he wasn’t being followed.
Tumblr media
“May I help you, sir?” a man’s voice asked.
“Oh, no,” David replied, startled. “I’m just browsing.”
“Of course,” the man replied. “I’ll be right here if you need assistance.”
Tumblr media
David looked around casually until he was surprised by a familiar face staring back at him from the far wall. An exact copy of a larger painting that had hung at Buckton Hall for many years, he recognized it instantly.
“This painting,” he said, calling out to the clerk as he took a closer look. “Where did you come by it, if I may ask?”
Tumblr media
“Well, it’s an interesting story, actually,” the older man replied. “A young man brought it in about six months ago looking to sell it, and left it here on consignment. He said it was a portrait of one of his ancestors, but was unable to identify him other than providing the surname Grey. I’ve done a great deal of research, but so far have been unable to identify the subject of the painting. I do know it is Oceanic in origin, and I’m fairly sure it’s Torenthian, but other than that, I’m unsure.”
Tumblr media
“Not Torenthian, I’m afraid,” David said. “Westonian. This is Lord Alfred Grey, the Seventh Earl of Buckland.”
“Really?” Wright said. “May I ask how you are so certain, Mr. …?”
“Grey,” David replied, extending a hand. “David Grey.”
Tumblr media
“Oh!” Wright said, shaking David’s hand vigorously. “I’m Ian Wright, the owner of this shop. So you’re a relative?”
“He was my great-great-grandfather, the Seventh Earl of Buckland.”
“That’s remarkable!” Wright said. “So the young man who brought it in would be …?”
Tumblr media
“I have no idea,” David said. “I was hoping you could tell me.”
“Well, I’m not sure I can do that, Mr. Grey,” Wright said. “But I can certainly pass your information on to him so he can contact you if he so chooses.”
“I suppose that will have to suffice, then,” David replied.
Tumblr media
“Let me get a pen and paper,” Wright said, scurrying back to the counter as David turned back to the portrait.
“Fascinating,” he muttered. “How did you get here, old man?”

Some Assembly Required
I didn’t cry when my father died many years back. The emotion remained bottled up for years, but when I find myself in moments when thirst for his thoughts and I pop the bottle open. It is then when I needed to hear his words the most that’s when my world comes crashing down. I thought that all the while he has faded into obscurity but I always find his voice in everything I do. How does one…

The Echoes of the Past: Ancestral Memory and the Theory of Genetic Rebirth
By David Dantes In the modern world, we often think of ourselves as unique, isolated individuals shaped by our choices, environments, and personal experiences. Yet, an ancient belief has been woven through countless generations—that we carry our ancestors within us, not just in our physical appearance, but in our spirit, emotions, and even memories. This idea suggests that, through the genetic…

Deciphering these petroglyphs has been and still is a mystery.thousands of souls have tried in vain to find meaning in this ancient form of rock art of our ancestors. We can speculate all we want but in the end their legacy was meant for their tribes descendants and their way of life. The most plausible explanation was that a drastic change of climate put an end to their hunter gatherer shifting to a more sedentary lifestyle thus forcing them to abandon their place of residence. Some suggesting they were all killed by other tribes to inhabit the land.Exploring other more outlandish hypotheses and theories I have read about several of these indigenous tribes around the world were abducted and taken off planet to be used to populate other earth like worlds in other galaxies. This doesn’t sound so far fetched when we consider that in the mythology of many cultures there are tales of gods descending from the sky in practically speaking flying saucers of gigantic proportions landing and taking natives away, never to be seen or heard of them again. There are hundreds of artifacts that many institutions have collected and keep locked to o disturbing that break the narrative of scholars when it comes to explaining the layman the timeline of these ancient cultures. The need of our government and its institutions to ,cheat, lie and hide evidence is staggering indeed. Many scholars in famous universities have been so successful in denying other explanations that present other rational theories, for fear of losing their tenures and their ego that even to this very moment are ready to destroy and cancel other colleagues that can rock the boat as they say . , Well, life goes on and I’m sure that in a not so distant future the truth will prevail and those who so often play the game of destroying others ,will be 6’feet under. Stair Síoraí - Uimh cloch dearmad
We have forgotten more knowledge Than we hold in our hands today What do you think? Do you not know that all things are counted? Thousands of years ago There was an artist with exceptional talent His heart was that of a lion And his hand that of a soldier He would form and shape the very rock of the earth And mold the stone to his will While pounding on the hammer and chisel Tears would flow from…

ned being held up as the metric for moral goodness in asoiaf is absurd like did you not read bran i, agot in which he beheads a man on the run from the others because he must fulfill his fedual oaths and he carries out the execution through his family's ancestral sword which was definitely forged for the exact opposite purpose, i.e. in defense of the north against the others. and then he uses ice again to behead the direwolf which was meant to protect his daughter. is it any wonder that he also meets his end the same way, through it, after spending the rest of the book in king's landing in service to a failed king, desperately trying to reassure himself that they are not repeating history. bran i is saying ice was already metaphorically broken long before tywin melted it down because the starks have forgotten their magical history yes, but also because ned represents an older, failed generation in service to hollow chivalric ideals. and it is now up to his children, the ones coming of age in a world destroyed by the previous generations—it is up to bran, sansa, arya, and jon to reforge their family legacy, away from contradictory oaths and in service to hollow paradigms. (and in a way ice is already currently being remade through brienne, who is not a knight of the songs but still the closest thing to the idea of a true knight)
